One to one studio skills tuition can cover the aspects of music production from either a producer or an artist point of view.

As an artist, you can work on mic technique, recording your voice or instrument and gain a better understanding of the whole process of mixing and production to enable you to create better tracks of your own.

As a producer you can develop the skills neccesary to use professional studio equipment when working on other artist's recordings to get the best impact.

Lessons can be taught with your own equipment at your own home or using our equipment.

Sessions give you hands on experience with compressors, noise gates, mixing desks, multi track recording equipment, digital effects and computer aided processing.

In mixing you will work on bouncing tracks, using inserted and auxilliary effects and mastering. We will also cover the creative side of production, including song structure, track layering and use of effects.

We can also combine your singing or guitar lessons with studio skills if you are working on a recording project or would like to be prepared before you go into a studio.
